1. Equipment Description

The Lessor agrees to rent to the Lessee one (1) thermal scope, described as follows:

2. Rental Period

The rental period shall commence on [Start Date] and shall terminate on [End Date]. The equipment must be returned by [Return Time on Return Date]. Lessee agrees to pay a daily rental rate of _________ for every day after the return date. 

 

3. Rental Fee  

The total rental fee shall be $[Amount] for the duration of the rental period, payable in full prior to taking possession of the equipment.

 

4. Security Deposit

A security deposit of $[Amount] is required and shall be refunded upon the return of the thermal scope in good condition, normal wear and tear accepted. The Lessor may deduct from the deposit any costs for repairs or replacements due to damage beyond normal wear and tear. In the event that the scope is lost or stolen and the security deposit does not cover the replacement cost lessee agrees to cover the difference. 

 

5. Use of Equipment  

The Lessee agrees to use the thermal scope only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Lessee shall not make any alterations or modifications to the equipment.

 

6. Liability 

The Lessee assumes full responsibility for the thermal scope during the rental period. The Lessee agrees to indemnify and hold the Lessor harmless from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of the equipment.

 

7. Maintenance and Care 

The Lessee shall take good care of the thermal scope and ensure it is returned in the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear. The Lessee is responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the rental period.

 

8. Termination  

The Lessor reserves the right to terminate this Agreement if the Lessee fails to comply with any terms herein. In such event, the Lessee shall return the thermal scope immediately.

 

9. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Your State]. The Lessee agrees to forfeit their security deposit and is responsible for any additional cost if the scope is seized by the authorities for any reason. 

 

10. Entire Agreement  

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.
